SpaceX IPO sell off ?

2026-05-24T17:28:27+00:00

$SPCX filed its S-1 on May 20, targets a Nasdaq listing June 12 at a $1.75T valuation. Index providers literally rewrote their rules to fast-track it in. How big ETFs gonna include $SPCX in their holding? will they proportionally sell of holdings and we will be fucked ? or the last name in SPY (500/500) / QQQ (100/100) gonna be trimmed out directly $CSGP ? or the ETFs will run 500+1 & 100+1 ? or it will happen gradually given some ETFs have rebalancing quarterly window ? This is what Bloomberg thinks https://preview.redd.it/bxatbz13f43h1.png?width=1149&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ef09dc7bb99d06566ace2e8f9315560947465f2 submitted by /u/Jacker247 [link] [comments]

Why no one is talking about 🍎?

2026-05-24T13:52:36+00:00

Apple contributes ~7% weightage to SPY. Apple always acts as a support to the market whenever the market is red. All the top contributors have already/almost reached their peak, but APPLE. The good thing is that it’s low IV stock so you get high leverage. It’s time for Apple to support the market. I’m holding my position, let’s ride it. submitted by /u/Itsallaboutmargin [link] [comments]

What to buy during a market correction or crash?

2026-05-23T04:27:18+00:00

Is there a strategy for buying during a market correction or crash? For context, I had a bunch of cash during the Iran war correction. I just bought more of some of my existing positions (GOOG, AMZN, etc.) during that time. I allocated more based on what dropped a lot. My BN dropped like 15% so I added a lot to that one. Just curious, if we had a -30% crash on the index, would you use the opportunity to get dividend stocks on the cheap, just dump it into SPY because you don't know how individual companies would recover, load up on dirt cheap speculative stocks, etc.? submitted by /u/Alicyclobacillus [link] [comments]

92% under performance to spy

2026-05-22T21:50:20+00:00

I recently sat down and did a cold, hard quantitative audit of my trading history across robinhood/webull since 2019. The math: I’ve deposited ~$34k over the years. My account is currently sitting at $23k. If I had just blindly bought SPY on those deposit dates, I’d have $55k. That’s 92% of under performance Obvious issues : over-leveraging 0–14 DTE options, eating IV crush around earnings, and terrible position sizing . No real stop-loss strategy , lot of revenge trading and angering “hoping” to recover the loss Has anyone successfully dug out of a multi-year hole like this? Here is my new framework: * Allocation: 60% core equities, 20% swings, max 20% options. * Options Guardrails: Strictly 45–180 DTE, 0.50–0.70 delta, and avoiding high-IV environments. * The Reset: Slowly injecting $20k–$30k in fresh capital so I have a real compounding base and don't feel forced to use leverage. * Risk Limit: Hard -15% max portfolio drawdown. The effects mentally of throwing everything in SPY vs Managing your assets yourself and making trades several times a month.

2026-05-21T17:56:38+00:00

Hello all, maybe a stupid question but I have a feeling there's some people out there who can answer. I've never invested in the markets as a whole, just individual stocks. Nothing crazy but I've owned maybe 10 or so in my life, I usually hold them long. But, I have started to feel like I was always checking the share price and I never was really fully present and it was effecting my mental health very badly. So I decided to take a pause on the stocks and am all cash for a while getting 4.1%. It has helped my mental health so much and help me.enjoy life more. But I know long term I do need to invest at some level. So for those who have done both, if you just throw your money in spy, does that help feel less like gambling and compulsive behavior and help you enjoy your life more? Or are you just as addicted to checking the price of spy as you were to your individual stock prices? submitted by /u/PeaceOut957 [link] [comments]

No More PDT Restriction

2026-05-21T17:19:46+00:00

Boys, the FINRA PDT rule is basically dead. That’s right. The ancient boomer “3 day trades and you’re banned unless you have $25k” garbage under Rule 4210 is getting replaced. No more: “pattern day trader” scarlet letter counting trades like your parole officer getting locked because you bought NVDA calls 4 times in a week with your $713 account The SEC approved changes that replace the old PDT system with real-time margin requirements instead. Translation for the financially illiterate: If your broker lets you trade and you have enough margin, you can trade. The 2001 dot-com era training wheels are finally coming off. Of course this does NOT mean: you suddenly know risk management your 0DTE SPY puts are smart you won’t blow up your account before lunch It just means the government can no longer stop you from discovering leverage at terminal velocity. TL;DR: Soon, you can day trade as much as you want. Godspeed, regards. submitted by /u/zjt598207402 [link] [comments]

Strategy proposal, critique requested

2026-05-21T00:39:06+00:00

I’m finally at a place in life where I can max out my 403b and a 457b through my job. I also have excess money (other than the 3-6m in a HYSA) sitting in an individual brokerage account and has mostly been in VTSAX. I‘ve been playing around with a portion of that money and have finally realized the power of money making money. I currently plan on moving all of the money to SPY, selling covered calls on SPY for the entirety, and scalping on margin and closing all of my margin positions by the end of the day to avoid interest using tight stops losses. Scalping has been working fairly well for me once I’ve instituted tight stop losses and watching candles closely and riding the momentum. This almost seems too easy? The covered calls I am selling are of short duration and the strike price I will set (since I’ll be selling 1 day contracts) can’t be beat by the market in the long run. What am I missing here? Obviously scalping can lose money. That aside, this strategy should be minimal risk from what I can see? submitted by /u/awkwardeagle [link] [comments]

TGT (Target) is probably the only recession proof stock

2026-05-20T21:03:41+00:00

I have this generic opinion based on real life observations and analysis. I have never seen a target in shady neighborhoods. Most of the targets are in upcoming/gentrified neighborhoods where people protest about corporations but end up going to target anyway because their life is too busy to go to an actual grocery store. Earnings were beat and the stock is still down because of possible negative numbers in future. Nobody who goes to target checks SPY before getting their groceries and nobody is going to stop going to target because there is a war going on. Most of the downside was because of tariffs and that already priced in. submitted by /u/NewSanDiegean [link] [comments]

SPY: New all-time highs on -40% volume? What gives?

2026-05-19T04:38:38+00:00

I've been staring at the SPY chart and noticed something that doesn't sit right. Since the March 30 trough, SPY hasn't just recovered. It was in fact 18% above the trough and 8% higher than the old high. But volume tells a completely different story. Average daily volume since the trough is 53.8M shares, compared to 88.3M in Q1. That's a 39% drop. It dropped fast and has flatlined around 48M, roughly half the Q1 average. So what's going on? submitted by /u/swusa [link] [comments]

INTC 15:1 LEVERAGE POSITION CLOSED, TRADED SPY 0DTE $5K --> $22.4K

2026-05-18T19:22:09+00:00

https://www.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/1texhaz/so_uhh_when_do_i_get_the_forbidden_phone_margin/ UPDATE from my post a few days ago. I was somehow able to hold almost $160k worth of Intel stock with an account worth $10k. I was able to do this by leveraging LEAPS OTM and reinvesting that premium into intel, buying 100 shares, then selling a leap, so on and so forth until I was capped out at 1250 shares, sufficiently leveraged for my personal risk tolerance. I pretty much decided to unwind this position this morning for a massive, massive loss. But little did I know, Schwab will allow you to buy back your covered calls on margin, assuming that you sell your shares by EOD. So I did the fist step, but not the second, and left 1250 shares of Intel uncovered. I lost about half the and hit $5k. In the depth of my despair, I decided to do the tried and true 0DTE SPY crack cocaine/fent method. Essentially, today I was able to time the GOD CANDLE at 3:00, and made some smaller trades before then. I now have $22k in my portfolio up from $5k at 10am this morning. Don't wanna be part of Elon's $1.75t valuation SpaceX passive investing bank heist of SPY? Here's how to build SPY ex-SpaceX on the day.

2026-05-16T22:02:42+00:00

State Street's 11 sector ETFs are built to be an exact map to SPY at these weights: ETF | Sector | Weight -----|-------------------------|------- XLK | Technology | 31% XLF | Financials | 14% XLV | Health Care | 11% XLY | Consumer Discretionary | 10% XLC | Communication Services | 9% XLI | Industrials | 9% XLP | Consumer Staples | 6% XLE | Energy | 4% XLU | Utilities | 3% XLRE | Real Estate | 2% XLB | Materials | 2% That 11-ETF port at those weights is SPY, exactly, 1:1. SpaceX is likely to land in either XLC or XLI, depending. When it's announced, there will undoubtedly be an XLC or XLI ex-SpaceX created, and it will simply be a matter of swapping that particular sector ETF to the appropriate ex ETF. But failing that: If it's XLI: Drop it, split the weight across XTN (transportation) + a machinery/construction ETF. If it's XLC: Alphabet and Meta dominate XLC so SpaceX's contamination is smaller, but still real. Best move is probably holding the big XLC names directly (GOOGL, META, NFLX, DIS, CMCSA) and skipping the ETF entirely for that 9%. Happy investing, everybody! submitted by /u/OneTwoThreePooAndPee [link] [comments]

Is this the beginning of the End? All indices across the world go negative - All at Once.

2026-05-15T10:44:07+00:00

Take a look at CNBC's headline tickers: everywhere, all at once, red, red, red. All indices across Europe and Asia. All metals. All cryptocurrencies. The 2 Green rows: Bonds and Energy, even the bloody Japanese 10 YR. Dow crossing 50k, SPY 750 - fine, business as usual. One headline: US sells oil to China. Think about this for a moment: China has been buying oil under the radar from Russia and Iran at a discount for years. Their price is not reflected in the public bid/ask of brent and natural gas. If, however, they start buying sizeable amounts at international prices - it makes sense that this creates a shockwave disparity in energy prices. It's probably just baloney because why would China commit to BS like this? For soybeans? But the market obviously doesn't think so because the algos everywhere, tied into Alladin by yours truly BlackRock, just flipped and burned on a dime on a massive scale across the entire world. Never seen anything like it. So is this the straw that breaks the AI camel's back? submitted by /u/Quiet_Deer_4887 [link] [comments]

CME crypto index futures are kind of a big deal imo

2026-05-14T19:13:17+00:00

CME launching Nasdaq Crypto Index futures is pretty interesting. Not because it’s another crypto headline, but because this is basically the TradFi version of “ok, we don’t want to pick individual coins, just give us the basket.” That’s much easier for funds to understand. Same way a lot of people don’t buy individual tech stocks, they just trade QQQ/SPY-type exposure. The weird part is what happens if crypto starts trading more like a macro basket than a bunch of separate networks. At that point BTC/ETH/etc may get pulled even more into the same flow as stocks, rates, gold, risk-on/risk-off trades. Not saying that’s good or bad. Just feels like another step toward crypto becoming normal market plumbing instead of its own separate casino submitted by /u/Enough_Angle_7839 [link] [comments]

800% on SPY Calls - Wut

2026-05-13T20:47:04+00:00

Wish I could understand how the market has been so resilient as of late. Was extremely patient this morning waiting for a test of the 200ma which we bounced right off of. Pre-empted the move and bought calls fairly early then got a signal from the indicator soon after, this was one of my longest holds as far as day trading goes. Held almost to half an hour before close 🤯🤯🤯 $2k position turned into over $16k, pretty wild. Told myself if there wasn’t an opportunity that I see to go short, I’m staying in the long, and boy it worked out! Kept it simple today with just trading off the moving averages and VWAP St Deviations Hope you guys caught this move today, or even the one yesterday which was a great turnaround as well. Let’s keep the ball rolling, 2 days left and probably WAY more volatility 😳 submitted by /u/Practical_Nebula4090 [link] [comments]

Broker that let's me set trades based off % of portfolio? i.e. buy as much SPY with100% of portfolio or cash available. Also set a time?

2026-05-13T19:23:59+00:00

I do index investing and swing trading with many of my positions, with exits and entries happening at the end of the day. For example, on May 15th, I might exit my position in IWM, sell all my shares, and then cycle into the SPY ETF. The problem is I haven't found a quick way to do this. I have to exit about 15 minutes or more before the market closes, then calculate the shares, etc. I'll buy the SPY then. If there's a broker out there, I could tell it at 4 p.m. to sell all IWM shares, then buy 100% of my available cash into SPY at 4 p.m./close. I may be overlooking something here, but it's just a minor annoyance I'd like to automate if I could. Currently, I'm with IBKR (Taxable), Fidelity (HSA), and Schwab (IRAs). Thanks! submitted by /u/Gousf [link] [comments]

When Will It Pop

2026-05-13T18:21:51+00:00

The market has had an insane bull run since 2023, we literally threw a dart at the board and still hit each time. Yeah that's great, but in the long run its horrendous. We've seen post like this, creating fear about our wars, elections, and fed rates. It doesn't really matter, each time the market has overreacted then corrected itself. It's been happening so much, it's causing high inflation on share prices. The low of the year 2023, will not be retouched unless we literally bombed our markets or companies. AI/Tech companies are 100%-1000% higher then it was 3 years ago. Micron, RKLB, PLTR, the list goes on and on. These companies stayed at their respected share price for years, then within a year rise 800%? I understand especially the last few years our technology companies have made huge innovations. But are they really large enough to stabilize a share price above 800%? I mean maybe I'm wrong, but I've heard a lot of talk about “true evaluations”. It's almost like we can price the share at whatever we want, since we are the leaders in ai and technology. SPY is nearly up 100% from 2023, which is actually insane. Considering majority of the baby boomers still own the market, we just doubled their entire savings. The rich just got even richer, and it's pushing younger generations into a corner. We won't be able to afford stocks, homes, living expenses and more. The market is high and theirs no doubt about it, we can keep pushing it higher. But at what point is this too high? submitted by /u/Jazzlike-Chest-1424 [link] [comments]

As a gambling man, it's clear it's time to take profits

2026-05-13T17:23:28+00:00

As a trader, it drives me nuts when it's painfully clear that some people get the "memo" about what's moving, and when, and the vast majority of us are left holding the bag. This 100 point SPY climb in 6 weeks and words like "unprecedented" and "historic" in the news -- well, maybe it's earnings and AI boom and inflation and yadda yadda, and maybe it's some shenanigans, too. And when the upper leg of the K-shaped economy decides to pull the rug out, and they will, it's always--ALWAYS--the little guy who not only takes the hit in their portfolio and 401k, but foots the bill for the bail outs. So, recognizing I'm gonna need that money to pay for the bail outs, I'm taking profit and leaving the casino until this party looks fun again. I'll probably miss another 100 point move, but this just no longer makes sense to me. Now, cue the supportive, compassionate thoughts y'all regards are known for... xoxo submitted by /u/BruceMee [link] [comments]

The "Beijing Miracle" is Pure Copium

2026-05-13T16:41:57+00:00

Anyone else watching the tape like it's a fever dream? There are 1,500 ships parked in the Strait of Hormuz (roughly 20% of global energy transit is on vacation) and SPY is melting up like the Fed just cut 50bps. Quick breakdown of why next week is when the bottom falls out. The "Beijing Miracle" isn't Real Market is pricing the fantasy that a 500 aircraft Boeing order plus some polite nodding in Beijing will convince Tehran to abandon their ideals and forget about the school Trump blew up. The US already struck Bandar Abbas. The Rubio deal is trash. There's no diplomatic offramp. Wall Street's pitch is that everything's fine as long as SPY closes green. The May 14-15 summit is the shield keeping algos bid through the weekend. Regional outlets are reading OBV and housing data. They can see what's obvious from outside, that the US is a giant with a limp propping up a couple tickers while the real market flatlines. Coiled Spring VIX pinned at 17 because institutions are aggressively selling vol. It's a gamma trap, they're harvesting premium while the spring gets pushed further down. PPI is creeping. $100+ oil is bleeding into producer prices on the lag. Summit ends Friday. When "miracle" turns into a "vague MOU," the music stops. Re-Entry Pain hits the moment the post summit presser drops and everyone remembers the Strait is still an active combat zone. July VIX calls are basically a bet that reality still exists, which feels like a pretty low bar, but here we are. See you at the bottom of the gap-down, nerds. TL;DR: the US is a trading desk with an army pretending Boeing orders solve naval blockades. Uncoiling starts next week. submitted by /u/NovWhiskey [link] [comments]

$OPEN Bull Thesis

2026-05-12T16:32:43+00:00

I’ve been looking into OPEN recently and I think the market may still be valuing the company based on 2022-2023 conditions rather than the operational improvements that have happened since then. A few things stand out to me: • OPEN traded near ~$0.50 during peak housing concerns • Shares have since recovered significantly and recently traded above $10 • The stock has materially outperformed SPY over the past year despite a difficult housing environment • Market cap is still relatively small compared to annual revenue levels • Trading volume has remained elevated, often reaching tens of millions of shares daily The broader housing environment is still difficult: • mortgage rates remain elevated relative to pre-2022 levels • transaction activity is below historical norms • affordability remains pressured However, that is also part of the reason I find OPEN interesting here. The company has already operated through: • rapidly rising interest rates • declining housing transactions • falling home prices in many markets • reduced buyer demand Despite that environment, they continued restructuring operations and reducing risk exposure. Some of the operational changes that appear important: • reduced aged inventory exposure • greater focus on contribution margins • tighter acquisition standards • cost reductions across operations • continued development of pricing and underwriting models Recent company metrics and commentary also suggest: • increased home acquisitions versus prior lows • improving inventory turnover trends • quarterly revenue expectations over $1B • contribution margins improving from prior periods The macro setup is also worth watching. Housing activity tends to be highly rate sensitive. Even moderate declines in mortgage rates could improve affordability and transaction activity meaningfully over time. If rates eventually stabilize or move lower: • housing transaction volume could improve • consumer activity may recover gradually • liquidity conditions for housing-related companies could improve I also think the data side of the business is often overlooked. OPEN has processed a large volume of residential transactions across multiple markets. Over time, that data may improve: • pricing accuracy • inventory selection • resale timing • operational efficiency Compared to where sentiment was during the peak housing panic, the business appears materially more stable today. Curious to hear other views from people following the housing sector or iBuying space. submitted by /u/aggiebruin27 [link] [comments]

i dumped my very small life savings into UROY. i told chat gpt to make me a post saying why it was smart Title: I just put my entire financial future into UROY because apparently I hate stability and peace Post: Listen up you undercooked rotisserie chickens. While all of you are busy losing money on weekly SPY calls and pretending your 3-share portfolio is “diversified,” I have ascended to a higher form of financial irresponsibility. I went all in on UROY. Why? Because uranium is basically spicy rocks and the world suddenly remembered electricity is important. AI? Needs power. Data centers? Need power. Boomers blasting AC at 61 degrees? Need power. Every government on earth: “hmm maybe shutting down all the nuclear plants was kinda dumb.” AND WHO OWNS ROYALTIES ON URANIUM PROJECTS? THESE CANADIAN MADMEN. You fools are still trading EV stocks while I’m investing in the ACTUAL glowing green forbidden gummy bear mineral that powers civilization. I don’t even fully understand what a royalty company does. Which is bullish because the more confusing the business model, the higher the chance WSB sends it to Jupiter. Imagine missing the next uranium run because you were busy buying dividend ETFs like a suburban dad named Greg. Not me. I’m here for: generational wealth gamma squeezes severe psychological distress possible SEC attention If this hits I’m buying: a jet ski a second jet ski uranium-colored Lambo wrap one of those medieval suits of armor for no reason If it tanks? Detecting SPY bottom phases with AI

2026-05-11T16:22:09+00:00

Important note upfront: This is not a buy/sell signal, not financial advice, and definitely not a “the AI predicts the market perfectly” tool. It is more of a regime score that is calculated daily after market close and checks whether the current market environment resembles historical bottom phases. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi everyone, Over the past few months, I built an AI-based dashboard that is meant to help me time my stock and ETF purchases a bit better. The model was trained on data from January 1, 2000 to January 1, 2020. Everything from 2020 onward was never seen by the model and is used as the test period to understand how the model reacts to unseen data. It is far from perfect, but if there is interest, I can make it available for free. https://preview.redd.it/1a51dybjaj0h1.png?width=926&format=png&auto=webp&s=717c0fd09aa0afad13a859ba6e6c05437f24e4a7 This is the AI’s performance so far. Every day after market close, the AI calculates a score/probability, and based on that, it indicates whether the current environment may be a potentially good entry point. I would like to know whether there is interest in this, and secondly, what you would like to see. Would you prefer a simple version like the current one, or would you want specific features or metrics? ------------------------------------------------------------------ How does the SPY regime model work? The model does not predict the future. It looks at the current SPY market environment and compares it with historical periods that later turned into strong recovery phases. Based on that comparison, it calculates a daily regime score after market close. A high score does not mean “buy now.” It means: the current setup looks similar to previous market-bottom or recovery environments. The model was trained only on data from 2000 to 2020 . Everything from 2020 onward was not used for training , so the post-2020 results are used as an out-of-sample test. I also show the bad signals, not only the good ones. Some signals were early or wrong, and that is important to see. The goal is not to create a perfect trading system, but a transparent tool that can help with timing long-term ETF or stock purchases. In simple terms: It runs once per day after market close It analyzes the current SPY market regime It compares today’s setup with past bottom/recovery phases It outputs a score The main idea is: Instead of trying to predict tomorrow’s price, the model tries to identify when market conditions look historically similar to previous attractive entry zones. submitted by /u/DaHongPao88 [link] [comments]

Anyone else feel mentally messed up seeing people casually make insane money trading options?

2026-05-09T23:53:26+00:00

Long term small investor here with a regular 9-6 job. Lately I’ve been feeling this weird mix of jealousy, FOMO, and frustration seeing people I know make what looks like stupid amounts of money trading options. I’m in my 30s, put in long hours every week, try to save/invest the “right” way, etc. Meanwhile I’ll open Instagram or Twitter and see acquaintances posting screenshots of turning like $3k into $20k in a week off some random NVDA or SPY calls. And the way they talk about it makes it sound so casual too, like it’s just free money if you know what you’re doing. I know logically I’m probably only seeing the wins and not the losses. I get that nobody’s posting the account they nuked or the times they lost half their paycheck in 2 days. But even knowing that, it still kind of gets in my head sometimes and makes me question whether I’m wasting my time grinding at work while other people are making my monthly salary off a couple trades. What makes it worse is some of these people genuinely don’t seem smarter, harder working, or more financially responsible than me. They just happened to get into options and now it feels like they’re operating in a completely different financial universe. For people who’ve dealt with this mindset before, how do you stop comparing yourself? Not looking for therapy answers lol. Just curious if other people in here have had the same thoughts. submitted by /u/savingrace0262 [link] [comments]

I BUILT A 3D STONK GALAXY WHILE LIVING BEHIND THE WENDY’S DUMPSTER

2026-05-09T17:11:24+00:00

Hello fellow regards 🦍 While my wife’s boyfriend was at the kitchen table teaching her about “dollar cost averaging,” I was out back behind the Wendy’s on a MacBook Air with 8GB of RAM, building the dumbest financial visualization tool ever conceived by a man with negative sleep, a fuckload of Adderall, and access to TypeScript. Behold: MARKET GALAXY All 500 S&P 500 stocks rendered as glowing little space balls in a 3D galaxy, connected by supplier chains, news mentions, and price correlations. It looks like Bloomberg Terminal got left alone with ketamine and a copy of Interstellar . It does almost nothing useful. It is perfect. 🛸 WHAT IT DOES Shows 500 S&P 500 stocks as glowing 3D nodes because apparently a table was too financially responsible Groups all 11 sectors into galaxy clusters because I read one math blog and became unbearable Draws supplier/customer arrows, including 73 live ones, because NVIDIA touches everything and we are all just side quests now Adds news co-mention rings that light up when two tickers show up in the same article Adds thousands of sector edges, correlation lines, and news rings because my Postgres database needed to feel pain too Lets the camera fly around while everything glows, pulses, and looks important Contains fog Contains no alpha 🧻 WHAT IT IS NOT Financial advice Useful Something Bloomberg can’t do better, faster, uglier, and with more keyboard shortcuts Able to tell you whether to buy puts or calls. It barely knows what an option is. It thinks NVDA is a close personal friend. 🍟 PROVENANCE This was built behind a Wendy’s on an 8GB MacBook Air that is currently swap-thrashing like a Victorian orphan with tuberculosis. The “AI” is a regex with confidence issues. The “graph database” is just regular Postgres because I read on Hacker News that Neo4j is for cucks and immediately believed it because I am financially vulnerable. Built in TypeScript because Python hurt me once and I never recovered. Today I spent 3 hours debugging why my $0.60/month disk filled up with 919 zero-byte orphan files. The fix was increasing the disk by 4GB. This is the level of institutional-grade finance technology you are getting. 🧰 OFFICIAL USE CASE Put it on the 50th monitor in your mom’s basement. When Chad from college comes over to brag about his Vanguard target-date fund, he’ll see you rotating through a glowing 3D galaxy of animated tickers and assume you’ve cracked the market. He will quietly leave. You will not have made any money. But you will have won. Bonus: when your mom asks what you’ve been doing all day, you can gesture at the glowing screen and say “managing the portfolio.” She does not need to know the portfolio is one share of $WEN and a banana. 🛸 LIVE AT https://market-galaxy.spacedogco.com Probably doesn't work on phones. Fuck you, steal a MacBook. No, I will not add Excel export. No, there is no API. No, I will not take product feedback. What do you think this is, a real company? 📉 POSITIONS 47 SPY 0DTE puts, currently down 94% 1 banana 🍌 1 share of $WEN The aforementioned stolen MacBook Air, 8GB RAM, vibes only Negative life expectancy 🦍 TLDR I built a 3D stonk galaxy behind a Wendy’s. It does nothing. It looks like NASA. Use it as monitor decoration so people think you’re a quant. You’re not. None of us are. NFA. 🚀 EDIT: Supplier arrows literally went live in prod 47 minutes ago. Peak finance technology hours. We are so back. EDIT 2: To the guy saying “this is just a force-directed graph with extra steps” — yes. Correct. The extra steps are the steps. How do I bounce back?

2026-05-08T16:16:49+00:00

Stock market newbie here. I started trading 2 weeks ago. Started off with $2000 CAD. Got a borrowing margin too. Thought I’d play around and have a little bit of fun, then got carried away. Bought 1 stock in MU, 1 NVDA, 1 AAPL, 1 AMZN. The game plan was I’d invest in a couple of growth stocks to start for funsies and then use money off my next paycheck to do more ETFs and small-cap stocks. It was all going well enough (no big losses, watching my stock rise and dip isn’t stressful I trust the market recovers eventually). Then I bought a stock in SOXL and sold it the next day. Was fun getting a $30 USD profit from it. Next day I decided to buy an 0de option in SPY. Sinking deeper into the greed trap. Sold it an hour later, made $200 off it. The next day (yesterday) I fucked myself. Started the day with $2400 net worth, ended with $1700. My borrowing margin went from $1300 used to $1900 used. Wasted all of that money on buying options and puts on SPY, lost on all the options (I would have made probably most of that money back if I hadn’t panic sold my put too soon (purchased for 0.95 USD and sold for $2 USD, it rose to 5+ USD a couple hours later). Kept revenge trading options and sinking myself into deeper hole. Now I feel sick to my stomach and annoyed with myself for gambling away a chunk of my savings. I’m swearing off the 0de trades I clearly am not cut out for it 😭 So the question now is can I bounce back? Can I recover my losses and get back to at least my net worth back to what it was 2 days ago? Can I bounce back quickly (in 3-4 months)? Is that possible without investing big money or doing risky 0de day trades? (I plan to drip feed $500-$750 CAD into my account each month). I’m okay with investing in aggressive stock strategy. I can process those risks better than I can process risks of 0de trades. Yes I know I’m a fool pls help me 🥲 submitted by /u/highandsublime [link] [comments]
