Guys, slowing down AI to build more safeguards around it means that you need MORE AI To audit the other AIs. If anything, this is an exponential increase in capex because one model working on hacking for the CIA (for example) will need other AI models to check that the job is being done properly and against the proper targets and then ai did not go rogue. Only an AI can check another AI, a human could never check and validate that fast. This means more computing power spent to check on main AIs. Nobody said Capex is slowing down, they are saying to slow down the release of new models that could potentially be used for nefarious purposes in order to build the guardrails. I believe all of this panic is baseless, POs are there, contracts are signed, already booked until 2028-2030. This is an arms race for dominance in this technology, the nuclear/space race did not stop in the 70's because of the oil shock, actually they started printing money and removed the gold standard to save the system (as usual). We are arguably nearing a huge QE event because of the liquidity drain that the Iran war will continue to aggravate. The future is EXTREMELY bullish and inflationary. Please correct me if I am wrong but I am not seeing this race slowing down, quite the opposite, China just said they are not slowing but accelerating, the USA already declared the AI to be a matter of national security in 2024 or earlier if memory serves me well. Nobody can stop this train. Lastly, debasement/devaluation are inevitable in the future so locking prices now for future delivery is smart as it offsets billions in future costs while revenues will proportionally grow nominally (after the 2008 oil crisis that provoked the great financial crisis, the dollar dropped to 0.6 against the euro, this means international revenue skyrocketed nominally). I also believe the FED will hold because the 10yrs at 5% already means that financial conditions are tightening. Debate me. submitted by /u/Conscious-Jicama2274 [link] [comments]

3 Nuclear Stocks to Buy With $2,000 After One Fell 83% Yahoo Finance
Today’s jobs report created exactly the kind of risk-off environment that should pressure volatile mining and development stocks. Yet, at the time of writing, $MP is up approximately 2.3%, $UUUU 1.3% and $USAR remains positive. I don’t think that divergence is accidental and I’m making a 500k bet on it. Reuters reported today that some Chinese rare-earth suppliers have stopped shipments to U.S. customers because they fear punishment from Beijing. The market is beginning to realize that the U.S.–China truce may already be failing operationally—even if it technically remains intact. China does not need to announce a formal export ban. It can quietly restrict supply through licensing delays, supplier intimidation and end-user scrutiny. Between now and the September 24 talks, every delayed licence, refused shipment and hostile political headline could increase anxiety that targeted restrictions are becoming something broader. That anxiety itself may be the near-term catalyst. Investors could begin assigning a growing geopolitical scarcity premium to domestic alternatives before any formal decision is announced. The trade: $MP: Cleanest and most established U.S. rare-earth play. Probably the most direct near-term beneficiary. Least torque. $UUUU: Producing NdPr in Utah and building commercial dysprosium/terbium separation capacity. Also has the uranium angle. My pick. $USAR: Highest-risk/highest-beta option based on its planned mine-to-magnet supply chain. If China formally restricts heavy rare earths or lets the trade agreement deteriorate, ex-China prices could spike and these names could reprice violently. Previous Chinese controls sent some rare-earth prices up multiples—not percentages. Also will throw LYSDY into the mix but it’s not American. The asymmetric setup: The market is beginning to recognize that the U.S.–China truce may already be failing operationally. As the September 24 talks approach, I expect that anxiety to magnify with every delayed licence, refused shipment and hostile political headline. The opportunity is not simply betting on an official ban. It is positioning for the geopolitical scarcity premium that could build during the next several weeks as investors recognize how exposed the United States remains. Article : Reuters: https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/china-rare-earth-firms-halt-some-us-shipments-over-geopolitical-worries-sources-2026-09-04/ Position: 37,000 shares of UUUU @ 14.94 Not financial advice. Gather around, regarded people. Today I'm offering a life changing opportunity. To profit from the largest bubble in history of mankind. You think 1929 was bad? How about 1987? Maybe Dotcom? 2008? COVID? Well, it's going to be all of that together. Because this time the source if going to crash. I'm talking about the U. S. of A. Home of the AI bubble. So, if you reached this point reading, you might be wondering what's the supporting theory of this fucking idiot. How many times have you heard that the US Treasury bonds are the safest asset in the world? They're the benchmark to measure risk regarding (LOL) stonks. You compare the US10YT to other 10 year bonds, to evaluate risk premium. A little reminder about yield's physiology: in essence yields are a risk measurement. I'll give you my money in return of more money later. If you are a honest dude, you'll likely pay me back on time. On the other hand, if your a POS, you'll be less likely to pay me back. So what I'm going to do to make profit off of giving money to someone that I might never see again. I'm going to ask more money in return when he (if he does) pay back. I'm getting paid better to assume more risk. Right now the world is telling the USA that they're a risky play. You remember bonds, right? 5% yield. Your gramma boomer has them. Boring. But what if you create an instrument whose underlying asset are US bonds. Because, how's the US not going to pay its mortgage. US bonds are about to become junk. There's a little detail about the US: they print their own money, and they print a lot. The only way to get out of this mess is either with hyperinflation, which will push yields higher and devalue currency, currency on its way to lose reserve status, by the way; or with a depression that lowers interest rates. Either way, it's fucked. A little cocktail of shit: -1929: you had a lot of wealth inequality and shoeshine boy invested. Check. -1987: low ERP. Check. -Dotcom: thousands of companies without profit, burning money. PE in the sky. Check. -GFC: someone leveraged to the tits on AAA bonds that turned out gay? Check. -Covid: ok, we don't have a pandemic with an insta recession (yet). But, we do have a lot of money printed from then. Still circulating. Inflation still high and low GDP growth, with phony numbers, of course. -Since we're talking about GDP, let's remember grampa Buffet and his index: at 200%+. -You're a watching in real time the fall of an empire. The thing is that empires in decadence turn violent. Check. It's going to get fucking ugly. Depending on where you are on the K economy, will be your fate. And as always, immigrants and poor people will be blamed. So I'm leveraged 5xShort ETF for NASDAQ, DXY, TSLA, META. Long some Euro bonds, Euro Defence, Uranium and Nuclear Tech, Gold. I'm not going to post my positions because fuck you. Either believe me or don't. Look at the data yourselves. Thank you for your attention to this matter. What's up you beautiful degenerates, I just looked at the chart for enCore Energy ($EU) on the NASDAQ and my screen is bleeding harder than my portfolio on a leverage call. The stock just took an absolute dump, crashing straight into its 52-week lows and hitting an RSI that is so oversold it's practically digging a hole to China. Why did it crash? They dropped their Q2 earnings and reported a fat $41M net loss because they had to buy uranium on the open market to cover their contracts, and they announced a Controlled Equity Offering. Standard dilution garbage that scares away the paper hands. The Bull Case (Why I might actually make money for once): Wall Street Consensus: Analysts are still screaming "Strong Buy" with an average price target around $3.60. We are currently trading way below that. Uranium is the Future: The macro thesis for uranium hasn't changed. Nuclear energy demands are skyrocketing, and enCore is one of the top US-based producers. The Spring is Coiled: Short sellers and algorithms have driven this thing so far into the ground that any decent buying volume or a technical bounce is going to spark a massive relief rally. My cost basis is low and I’m holding 100 shares because I like the shiny radioactive rock. Is this a free money glitch at these prices or should I prep my application for Wendy's? Disclaimer: This is not financial advice. I eat crayons for breakfast. submitted by /u/Ok-Meat4595 [link] [comments]
Don’t bother asking. Whatever you’re thinking about, the market thought about it three quarters ago. Think Apple is about to crush earnings? Priced in. Think Tesla is secretly working on a flying car? Priced in. You work the night shift at Wendy’s and discover the Frosty machine is powered by a miniature nuclear reactor? Believe it or not, priced in. You really think some random piece of information has escaped the attention of millions of investors, hedge funds, algorithms, insiders, analysts, economists, and one unemployed guy with twelve monitors in his bedroom? The market knows. It knew you were going to read this post before you opened Reddit. Your future salary, your next impulse purchase, the car you’ll buy in six years, the three subscriptions you’ll forget to cancel, and the exact number of times you’ll order food because you’re too lazy to cook are already sitting somewhere inside a discounted cash-flow model. Nothing surprises the market. Aliens land tomorrow? Priced in. The moon explodes? Priced in. Scientists discover that the entire universe is actually running on a Dell laptop in some higher-dimensional office cubicle? The semiconductor exposure was priced in years ago. Your thoughts are not alpha. Your predictions are not unique. Somewhere, some quant has already converted your entire personality into a factor and backtested it against the S&P 500. So before you ask whether the next iPhone, election, recession, rate cut, product launch, scandal, breakthrough, apocalypse, or heat death of the universe is “priced in,” save yourself the trouble. Yes. It’s priced in. submitted by /u/WonderfulWorld3326 [link] [comments]
